GEO Specialty Chemicals

This project will allow GEO to expand their manufacturing and sales of chemicals used in the treatment of drinking water and wastewater to the Texas marketplace.

This is a grass root project which consisted of all the facets, including civil, concrete and rebar install, steel erection, pipe erection, (which included FRP piping). In addition to the scope work, change orders which totaled over $600,000 were reduced to $200,000 through efficiencies in the field.

This project had difficult scheduling challenges that were resolved during the design phase while working directly with GEO operations personnel. Tasks included: detailed design, site development, drainage systems, RCP piping, concrete foundations and structures, containment walls, roads, fabrication of all piping and piping tie-ins, truck loading rack, pipe rack steel, hydrate building steel, and self-performance of all scaffold work. Worked directly with client on critical design and installation elements to maintain operations of existing facility.
