Confidential Lubricants Client
This project involved the installation of a greenfield lube oil re-refinery which takes used lube oil products of various degrees and recycles them through a refining process.
This grassroot project was for all facets of site development including civil, site work, foundations and structures, modular and stick built equipment, piping systems, electrical power, and instrumentation and controls.
This project included all FEL phases from concept through commissioning and start up. Engineering began with feasibility studies followed by detailed design, which developed into fabrication of modules and then field erection. The site installation consisted of all infrastructure including roads, bridges, drainage, and walkways/pathways. The mechanical equipment installations included distillation and hydrotreaters, all associated piping, electrical, instrumentation and controls, a total of 25 API storage tanks with full containment, truck/rail loading and unloading systems, plus all utilities including fire suppression systems, VOC management systems, and flare.
The remote location of this project offered scheduling challenges due to inclement weather from Midwestern US winter conditions. The strength of the relationship with our client helped to overcome these project challenges.
