Tellepsen is performing extensive project management, and construction services for a major plastics facility in the Houston Ship Channel area. The project includes piping, structural, and mechanical equipment installations. 

The Project involves a piping scope that includes the installation and testing of 254,352 linear feet of carbon steel and stainless steel piping and 50,000 welds. It includes the installation, grouting and alignment of 874 pieces of mechanical equipment that includes but is not limited to pumps, towers, dryers, shakers, and reactors. The structural scope includes the erection of 2,149 tons of steel that has a mixture of both fireproofed and bare steel.

The project has a peak manpower of 1,300 Tellepsen employees. In addition, we coordinate daily with multiple other contractors. Tellepsen maintains the site schedule and coordinates with all of the other contractors to get schedule updates to maintain a centralized schedule. Tellepsen also managed the majority of our clients’ subcontractors. We maintain a complete set of jobsite drawings along with redlining and as-builts.
